National Pet Dental Health Month Discounts

February is National Pet Dental Health Month. Every year we celebrate by discounting all dental procedures for dogs and cats. This year we have simplified our discounting to make it easier for your budget. Your pet would have to stay for the day for a dental cleaning. Our prices include the anesthesia, ultrasonic scaling (cleaning) of the teeth, in-depth exam of the teeth while under anesthesia, polishing of teeth and hospitalization for the day. Any pets requiring extractions will also recieve fluids (IV or subcutaneous) during the procedure, appropriate pain medication, and antibiotics.

Rabies Clinic
We are having a rabies clinic at the Madison Fire Station
on Monday June 20th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
This vaccine clinic is for cats, dogs, horses, goats, sheep, donkeys, llamas, or any other animal (mammal) that needs a rabies vaccine.
No appointment is necessary.
Cost is $10 per vaccine-only rabies vaccines will be offered.

***Please bring your previous rabies certificate(s)
to be eligible for 3 year rabies vaccine for dogs and cats***

Please no sick or injured animals, no animals that have bitten anybody in the last 10 days.

This rabies clinic is for the general public and for the 4H Youth Pet Show Participants of the UNH Cooperative Extension. The 4H Youth Pet Show will be held July 30th at County Farm Day and is open to youths 8-18 yrs. MWV Mobile Veterinary Clinic is here to remind us that keeping your dog or cats teeth clean and healthy can go a long way to extending the life of your friend. Because pets don't brush their teeth, tartar build up can lead to gum disease and infection. Bacteria enters the bloodstream, which can contribute to the decline of major internal organs such as heart, liver and kidneys. We can help by examining your pets mouth to determine if a dental cleaning is needed. We will also gladly show you brushing techniques and explain why its important to keep your pets teeth and gums healthy.

Bark in the Park 2010
Come visit us at the Animal Rescue League North's Bark in the Park in North Conway on Saturday Sept 25th. We will be holding our 2nd Annual Doggie IQ test and this year it will be tougher and more challenging and of course, much more fun! Hill's Science Diet has donated a number of cool frisbees that we will be giving away to the first set of contestants! We will also have some Hill's Science Diet foods available for a nominal donation to the Animal Rescue League-North. We will also have colorful bandanas to give away and much more. MWV Mobile Vet wants to partner with you to help your pet live a longer healthier life by watching out for those extra pounds this year! Our pets count on us to help them maintain a healthy weight. Overweight and obese pets can suffer from crippling arthritis, joint injuries, diabetes and a shortened lifespan. MWV Mobile Vet Clinic would like to help you determine the best approach to maintaining a healthy weight for your pet. It may be as simple as using a measuring cup or changing to a lower calorie diet. Try to remember to cut back on too many high calorie snacks and table scraps! Of course daily exercise is always encouraged no matter what time of year. Wouldn't right now be a great time to find a healthy low calorie alternative?

Bark in the Park
Conway Area Humane Society's 12th annual Walk for the Animals and Bark in the Park Pet Expo takes place on Saturday Sept. 26th 2009 in Schouler Park North Conway. Walk for the animals through Whitaker Woods, climb to "Paws on Top", visit the many pet-related vendors, participate in the dog show, games and more! Don't forget to stop by MWV Mobile Veterinary Clinic's booth and say "Hi" to Dr Brown and her staff!
We will be holding doggie IQ tests during Bark in the Park...come by and see how smart your dog is!!

Open House May 30th!
Come visit us at our new location! We are having an open house on May 30th from 10 AM until 3 PM to celebrate the grand opening of our new building. Our open house is in conjunction with Karla's Pet Rendezvous open house and grand opening so come on over and check our both of our facilities and take part in the raffles to benefit the Conway Area Humane Society, free door prizes, demonstrations, and much more!

We have a new building!
Our new clinic is conveniently located at 1513 NH Route 16 - at the border of Madison, Conway, and Albany. It is just south of Conway Village in what used to be the Waldorf School. The building has been beautifully renovated and we share the building with Karla's Pet Rendezvous, a state of the art grooming and boarding facility. This new space allows us more flexibility for scheduling in-clinic appointments, surgeries, and dental procedures. It also will make it easier for you to pick up your pets prescriptions, specialty diets, adn other products to keep you pet healthy and happy!
